I've been playing trumpet for about two years now and on Wednesday I am auditioning for the youth orchestra in our town.
We have to play a 2 minute classical piece.
So like, I went to trumpet today at like....9:30 or something and mr.pinkley (don't you just love that last name?! PINKley??!?! ahh!) gave me these 2 pieces to do and so yeah.
I have to practice like, allot before Wednesday and stuff...drama.
ahh! that would be so cool if I like, got in or whatever you call it. But If I didn't' then that would be like, dramatic 'cause its like all that hard work- rejected. ahh! drama!
But yeah, I want to get in. lol.

drama at starbucks!!!!!!!!!!!!
So my friend and I biked down to Starbucks yesterday. I was so happy to see grey sky's. (Ok that sounds strange but after like reallllllllly hot weather its good).
In our town we can walk to the QFC, Bartells etc. And in the summer my friend and I usually bike down and get ice cream at Marble Slab, which is like 2 seconds away from our neighborhood.
The dramatic part was in Starbucks, where I spilt my mocha ALL over my shirt AND scarf. As the coffee hit me, I jumped up. It took me a few seconds to process what just happened.
I ripped the black and white scarf that was now drizzled in coffee stains and shoved it into Dani's hands and I hurried to the bathroom to scrub the coffee out of my white top. I spent like, 2 minutes in the bathroom trying to get some of the stuff out. Sweat beads started to form on my face as I panicked about the stain that it may leave (lol). Thankfully, I was wearing a vest, where I was forced to button it up somewhat to cover the wet top. Dani knocked on the door and was like, "What happened?!"
This had all happened in like, 5 minutes.
Thankfully a guy who worked there cleaned up the spilt coffee so I didn't have to go back and be like, moping it up all mortified and stuff.
I chugged some of my mocha and Dani tried to get down as much smoothie as possible (Brain freeze!). We left like, 2 seconds later.
Shakily I fumbled with the bike lock, my eyes darting around the parking lot area, where some creepy guys were. drama. Dani groaned when she saw our wet bikes, but I just said, "Don't worry about it, it's your brothers bike" (her bike was like, not alive so she was stuck with her older brothers bike).
I was probably over-dramatizing and stuff but yeah.
We took the back way out of the small shopping center area (consisting of a dry cleaners, pizza place, QFC, Bartell Drugs, Starbucks and Blockbuster. Plus a few other random places but yeah) Which was through the large alleyway. Its like, really big and you can see straight though it so its like, yeah. "Just get on and ride" I said flatly, frustrated but trying to keep calm.
There were multiple parking spaces at the back of the building, most filled up.UH-OH; creepy guy.
Dani and I (mostly me) petaled as harshly as our week souls would allow up the hill, hearts thumping into our rib cadge. Shakily we made our way back onto the edge of the road, where we would cross over into the side walk. I halted abruptly on my bike, but Dani practically crashed into me. drama.
Rain was spewing from the grey mask above our heads and onto our shaken, paper-white flesh.
Another hill.
Once we had crossed the road and were onto the sidewalk, I stopped, trying to re-group myself. "What just happened?" I questioned, referring to the Starbucks event.
Everything had happened so fast.
My legs carried my still shocked body (from the coffee incident then the creepy people) back to the neighborhood, where I fumbled in my pocket for the house key.
As I closed the door behind me I quickly changed, then doused my tank top with stain remover stuff.
It was like, totally dramatic.

OK EVERYONE
We need to think!!!!
What is 234,782 * 1/2 = x * 2?!?!!?!?
BRAIIN WAVESS...BRAIIN WAVEESS!!
Posted by Jessica at 9:31 PM 0 comments
cant think of any titles so um, yes.
Today when I pulled my trumpet out of it's case and began oiling the valves, the center one was like, cemented down! I couldn't pull the key out! It was so dramatic 'cause I didn't want to have to go over to the music store and have them fix my trumpet...again.
But my mom was able to pull the thing loose so it was all good. Until I started to play it.
It sounded all weird and out of key to me and I was like..meh.
So I think I want to try to play jazz. But I kinda switch my interests in what I like to play every month or so. Wait, nvm. I think I'll stick with classical.
LOL.
When we go up to Alaska next month I hope to be able to play a few tunezzz with my cousin, Haley. But I think that she may play jazz and I play classical so yush.

Shavuot
its like, a blur. LOL. It was really fun though.
We were in like the service room thing (idk what you would call it..) most of the morning. We straightened Kit's hair at 2 or so and I watched Morgan smuther makeup on Kit, and I plucked like, two eyebrow hairs of hers!
Ummmmmmmmmm what else did we do? lol, it's like a blur.
Oh, we went outside a few times. Morgan was attacking everyone with her camera and flashing the flash in my face, so I flashed my flash in her face and we were kinda going crazy and like, pertending to tower over each other like seaweed. LOL.
Niki saw a raccoon that somehow developed into teasing me about a racoon with a shot gun...lol!
For like, an hour we were in the Judaic shop, I remember it was 4 or so when I updated my twitter.
The sun started to rise so we went outside, I was half asleep and if someone would talk to me, it just went in one ear and out the other. I remember Alex trying to tell me something but I was like, "what? I can't understand you."
So then we were gathered at the more front of the shul and Elizabeth was like, "Oh i love excersize..running is fun!" and then they decided to go on a walk. Niki and I were like, going with whatever and just followed.
It was like, 4:30 when we left and returned at 6:30. Morgan led the way down to the beach area and it was like, only a short while of walking compared to Elliotts zillion mile way.
On the way back they thought they were like, sooo smart and we were forced though miles and miles of apartments, some primary school and two neighborhoods.
It was a BIKE trail. We were walking, on our feet, not like on bikes. It was really annoying.
Once we were up in the neighborhood I looked ahead in terror at the MOUNTAIN that was ahead. Well, it looked like a mountain at 6:30 in the morning. Alex decided to sprint up the hill, and Niki and I were forced to follow. We were really annoyed.
Like, how is running fun??
And poor Niki's bones were like, splintering.
The actual walk was fine, just the running and the unnecessary bike trail route wasn't very enjoyable.
Once we were back at the shul, Niki Monica and I collapsed near the sink, we pulled ourselves up and went back into the larger room and arranged the chairs strangely. It was kinda uncomfortable how we were spread out, and Mrs.Brooks very kindly let us use her little nesting area. lol.
So we rested for like 2 hours. The Service started at 10- which Niki guaranteed- and then we left after.
Shavuot was really fun, I just can't like, remember everything cus I wasn't like completely awake. BUT I did stay up the entire night!!

creepy people are so like, creepy.
so like, I was walking my friend home (who lives like, in the same neighborhood) and we usually depart halfway, so there was this REALLY creepy like, overweight guy with his shirt off *shivers* and I was like, EHH so [after watching to make sure Allie survived walking past him, even though he was on the other side of the road] I practically sprinted away my cellular device flung out of my pocket and skidded accost the pavement, keyboard open, and took a nasty fall.
But like, at least the scrapes aren't THAT bad.
I know that like, everyone [well Morgan] like, despises twitter but I really enjoy it cus it's like, shorter status messages!
Soooo if you have a twitter and are wanting to follow meh...here is my profile link!!

good times
So I've been doing lots of snapping (not like, snapping of the mouth but like, actual snapping of the fingers) and like, saying words but not like singing cus that would be like...eh. More like talking with rhythm??
Anyways so today Jacob and I were trying to get Elizabeth to say what she said she couldn't {or, didn't want to say} say yet she said it so then that made us like, "WHHHHAAAT???" so yeah. Then we were both snapping and Jacob's like, talking with rhythm all strangely and yeah.
Then Fenda was like, saying her stomach looks like a barrel which reminded me of those st Bernard's dogs and I was like, "OOOH! st Bernard's!!" and Fenda was like, "What????"
But Niki got it and yeah.
Cus you know, st Bernard's on the mountain with the barrels and the Swedish backpack gear logo...good times.
OH YES! I REMEMBERED!!
Ok so now I am like, writing Fenda's blog for her so go check it out please!

Plus, Emily M will be there so it will be good.
Everyone needs to check out Fenda's blog because I updated it!!!
And I am confused. Like, I don't know if I like camping or not cus we are going camping allot this summer and yeah.
Then at like, 2:00 I went to writing class and everyone wanted me to read my like, excersize story and I was like, no thanks and this one girl is like, 'but your the best one in the class' and one girl snatched the paper from me.
I don't really like the writing class. lol.
So I'm saving up for a mini laptop. One of those snazzy dell ones in pink. I just love pink and I would very much enjoy a pink mini laptop.
Kinda random posts today, but I felt like I needed to update!!!

Today was National Day of Prayer. There was some thingy going on from 12:20-12:40 where we meet at our City Hall and pray for our country.
We were the only ones who showed up at 12:20.
Acts 18:9
One night the Lord spoke to Paul in a vision: "Do not be afraid; keep on speaking, do not be silent.

AHH!!!!!!!
So today I spent awhile researching about how to stop the sweating in my underarms.
I'm not going to do into full detail about this but I have excessive underarm perspiration. That's where I sweat allot in the underarm area.
I have tried every deodorant on the shelves. Spending allot on the non-successful products.
After a few months, I didn't really care about the whole aluminum thing. I just wanted to get rid of the sweating.
We have visited the dermatologist who recommended the deodorant I was already using without success.
So after about a zillion hours of researching and false hope, I noticed one person recommended Certain Dri.
So intimately I googled Certain Dri and if it really works.
I called my mom with excitement and she ran by Bartell's on her way home, getting the AM deodorant, the roll on and the stick.
I haven't used it yet because you are to follow the directions. (I know, right. :P) and they say to only apply it at night.
From what reviews have said, it burns for about 15 minutes but it's worth it.
So I'm gonna try it out tonight and I'll update if it really works!! I really, really, really, really, really hope it does.

So once I am old enough-in 18 days- I'm gonna start looking for jobs. I am thinking that I'll check out the smaller businesses, see if they have any open positions. Plus today I started working for my mom. Just folding like, a zillion flyers and sticking on the return address. fuuuun. haha, kj kj. I kept reminding myself, eye on the prize.

drama!
So last night my hands were kinda red-ish and had that strange numb feeling to them. You know when you just get inside from a super cold day and you foolishly go to the sink and rinse your hands under hot water? Kinda like that expect for not as painful. That's about the only thing I can compare the feeling too. So as I continued on with my life, I was itching a lot and soon saw a cluster of mosquito-looking things on my left elbow. Not fun.My mom thought I was bit by something, so I took it kinda...dramatically.So today when I woke up, I had the same pain in my hands. So I did my schoolwork and then went up to practice trumpet. I couldn't handle practicing with the itch so I started praying.A few hours later more and more started to show up, mostly on my feet. Freaking out, I quickly called my mom, who was in a lunch meeting.Inhaling, I contacted my dad and he suggested that it may be measles. So I went to google exactly what measles were, and discovered a few syntoms that I had. Coughing and runny nose. But after several phone calls to my dad later, I realized that they usually are red and brown before they go away. These bumps were pretty much skin colored, maybe just a slight shade of red.Remembering that a few nights ago I had a mango smoothie, I quickly called my friend Kayla, who is also allergic to mango's.After asking her what exactly happened to her when she ate mango's. Her mom knows about healing and stuff so I was talking to her.We started to talk, trying to figure out the root problem to this, which was fear.Though I couldn't exactly pin point exactly what I was afraid of (the bumps, mostly) she read the bible verse, 1st Timothy 1:5. She said to pray about it, clamming healing over my body. (Which I did before, many times). So after hanging up I started to pray again and soon enough, the bumps started to reduce ever so slightly. As I type, they have gone down greatly, and the urge to itch isn't so urgent. I can handle not reaching down and scratching them now.Weather you have a fever, cancer or even an allergic reaction like I did, if you just pray and believe that G-d has the power to heal, it will happen. Honestly.

And you want to work in fashion yet you won't touch a dead animal's paw???
At my friend Indigo's birthday, they had some fur sitting under a side table.
So of course, I HAD to touch it and droll over how amazing it would look on a coat!
When I told my mom how awesome skunk would look trimming the edge of a hood, she was a bit...yeah.
BLAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH
HHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH
HHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH
HHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH
HHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHi!
Someone send me some snap-pea's please.
They are yummy.

2.14.09
"It's Valentines day?" I pause, "Oh...it is."
Doesn't like the half-dead yellow Dalila flower's I got last week. One of the three is getting bleach.
As almost everyone who knows me knows, I am very freaky-ouite {hey, new word!} by almost anyone. And I mean anyone. Ask any of my friends.
So we were walking around the larger Church that sits smack in front of the shul. The church is next to a busy road, along with a Bartell Drug store and a strip mall with random shops. So usually, various humans walk along the slim sidewalk. And these humans. Scare. Me.
So as we were walking, this one very, VERY creepy man on a bike dressed head-to-toe in red comes into the parking lot, I jump back, COMPLETELY freaked out. But he goes away.
Then there was this other guy who was walking along the sidewalk with like, a plastic bag or whatever. Totally scary.
Like, I understand and know that I am totally paranoid. But yeah.
I have a new favorite song; Think of you by A Fine Frenzy.

2.9.09
Today Amina, Safia and Allie came over to make some stuff. It was very loud and giggly in our house, but in a good way. So then, Amina suddenly decides that she needs a skirt for some valentines thingy, so she calls her mom and asks if she can take us to goodwill or something like that. Surprised, her mom nods and says that is okay. But I couldn't find they key to our house, so like, after searching endlessly though pockets of coats I find it, and we all scream with excitement. We did not find anything at goodwill (yeah....I know) but had fun picking up ugly clothing and being all yeah. Sooo then a few hours later I had girl scouts and yeash.
Yesterday was Tu B'Shvat and awesome. Well, expect for when Morgan, Sara and Fenda were trying to get pictures of me. (Sometimes I don't enjoy my picture being taken).
Sooo yes.

Flickr!!!
Flickr is sooo much easier to use than uploading your photos to facebook or myspace.
Plus, the free account is free. (LOL)
http://www.flickr.com/photos/waxowl/
So yeashhhh. Today, I woke up at around eight or so, very unlike myself. I practiced trumpet all before nine! Then, after taking tones shots of pink gerber daisys, I checked out my flicker account, just in case someone dropped me a comment.
About ten minutes ago I counted all the idems (that were out on the shelves and bookcase) and so far I have counted 38 pink items...wait, now that I think of it I have 41 if you count all three gerber daisys...lol!

some not-so-fantastic drama
Quote of the month,
"Just because you feal like crap, doesn't mean you have to look like it." -J.W
Ugh, sensitive people make me want to jab my eyes out with a spoon sometimes. Like seriously, when so-and-so get's angry cus I simply said, "you spelt that wrong, it is ___" she sign's out!!! SIGNS OUT. oh well, drama. But the drama isin't so fantastical when it is happing to you-most of the time.
